Children’s Clothing Fair: August 24th

Donated children's clothing in good condition will be available for military families at no cost. 

Spring Military Appreciation Food Drive: Saturday, May 13, at TLC (Drive Thru)

The Military Appreciation Food Drive focus is to help military families in need due to financial limitations by providing them nourishing food and to demonstrate TLC's resolve to support the local military families.  Our Spring Drive provides 3 days of nourishing meals and snacks to a family of four. 

Sponsor a Dinner Package: Donations accepted from March 19 – April 23 ($40/family dinner package)


Volunteer Opportunities:

May 10 – Packaging food bags in TLC Fellowship Hall - setup 9:00-9:45 am, packing 9:45-11:00 am

Drive Thru Food Package Distribution at TLC:

May 13 at TLC – 9:00-10:00 am

MILITARY FAMILIES INTERESTED IN RECEIVING A FOOD PACKAGE CAN REGISTER 14-23 APRIL VIA EMAIL AT "moc@tierrasantalutheran.org".  Registration is required to ensure no one is turned away.

Military Family Assistance Ministry

An opportunity to assist a military family in an extremis can occur at any time and we stand ready with helping hands to provide food, money, and transportation.


Volunteer Opportunities:  If you are willing to be on call for transportation support, please contact Wayne Duke at 858-740-1068 or via email at tlcmm@tierrasandlutheran.con  


Donation:  Monetary donation of any amount to support this ministry are welcomed and can be provided by check to Tierrasanta Lutheran Church with memo line note “MOC/FA”.

Volunteer Opportunities:

You are invited to join TLC members in placing the wreaths on the graves at the Miramar National Cemetery in mid December and removing them the first week of January.
