Children are the church now and the future.
Kids Worship
Join us Saturdays at 4:30pm for a new type of worship service specially with kids in mind! Pastor Vadis will lead us in worship with special music and instruments. Stay for a pizza dinner afterwards. Please contact the church office with questions.
Confirmation
Confirmation Orientation is on Wednesdays, at 6:30pm for all 7th & 8th grade youth and their parents. Please contact the church office at 858-560-8688 or by email info@tierrasantalutheran.org if you would like to sign up your child.
First Communion Class
For baptized 3rd graders. First Communion will be celebrated the last Sunday in October. Invited to these classes are all children of our congregation age 3rd grade and older who have not yet been instructed in the benefits and meaning of Holy Communion. One or both parents are required to attend these classes with their child. Please contact the church office if you are interested in signing up.

Children's Church
During the 8:30 service during the school year, and both services during the summer, children are invited to have an opportunity to learn a little bit more of each Sunday's Bible lessons. Children leave after the Children's Message and return before Holy Communion.
Godly Play For Kids
Godly Play runs September through May. Please join us in person Sunday mornings at 10:10am for a lesson.
During the school year, children ages 3 through fifth grade, meet in the Youth Building to share in Bible lessons from Godly Play. It is a time for wondering, exploring, and hearing God's word in creative, hand ons ways.
Faith Milestones
We celebrate milestones in our children's lives, Baptism, First Communion, Bible Sunday, Back to School Blessings, Confirmation and Graduation. We help mark each special point along our children's faith journey.
EASTER EGG HUNTING
The Sunday before Easter
Bring your own basket and come for a fun morning at TLC. We'll have yummy treats to eat, eggs to find and even the TLC Easter Bunny! Our Easter egg hunt is the Saturday before Easter each year.
